I got a great comment about one of my birth control posts that went something like this:
“You wouldn’t stop wearing shoes if the first pair you tried on didn’t fit. Why would you think of not using birth control if the first method you tried didn’t work for you?”

So true indeed! People give up easily when it comes to birth control…an annoying bleed here and there, some spots on the face….and the idea of contraception is shown the way out. I know some methods don’t agree with some people, but it’s worth persevering to get it right. The alternative is unplanned pregnancies, soaring abortion rates, HIV/ Hepatitis and other STIs. Not a nice picture, I’d say!
