I don’t know what to say to young people who have asthma and allergies, but don’t do what they need to do to control their illnesses. For example, I know many young people who will continue to expose themselves to cats and dogs, even though this causes their asthma and allergies to act up. It so curious how they jeopardize their health and their life. I explain why they need to stay away from animals, but often this doesn’t make them change their behavior. If they can’t breathe, they can’t survive-but even hearing this isn’t enough. I’m puzzled.
